Documentation

Fezola is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives your AI assistant access to all your mailboxes and chats through one connector. This page explains how to set it up and what its tools can do.

1. Create your account

Sign up at app.fezola.com with your email and a password. Your account is the place where you connect your sources and authorize your AI assistants.

2. Connect your sources

Open Sources in the app and add your sources (two on the Free plan, up to 20 on Pro):

  • Gmail: choose "Continue with Google" and grant access. No password is shared with Fezola.
  • iCloud, OVH, IONOS, Gandi and other providers: enter the address and an app password created in your provider's security settings. IMAP and SMTP settings are filled in for known providers, and you can enter them for any other server.
  • Google Chat: sign in with Google. Access is read-only.
  • Telegram: enter your phone number and the code Telegram sends you (and your two-step verification password if you use one). Access is read-only.

3. Add Fezola to your assistant

In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste the connector URL. In ChatGPT: add Fezola from the apps directory, or create a connector with the same URL in Settings, Apps. The AI connector page of the app has one-click buttons and up-to-date steps.

Your assistant opens a Fezola sign-in and consent screen listing the sources it will access. Once you accept, the tools are available in your conversations.

4. Tools

Read-only tools, which never change anything:

  • list_accounts: your connected sources and their status.
  • list_recent: what arrived recently across all sources, with what still awaits your reply.
  • search_messages, get_message, get_thread: search and read emails in every mailbox.
  • list_drafts, list_folders: your drafts and mailbox folders.
  • list_chat_spaces, list_recent_chat, get_chat_thread, search_chat: Google Chat.
  • list_telegram_chats, list_recent_telegram, get_telegram_chat, search_telegram: Telegram.
  • get_attachment: read an attachment (text of a PDF, Word document or text file, or the image itself).
  • get_plan, list_invoices: your plan, your sources against the limit, your invoices.
  • get_profile, list_connected_assistants: your profile and the AI assistants that can access Fezola.
  • test_connection, get_connection_help: test a mailbox and understand an error, connection help per provider.
  • get_connect_link, get_upgrade_link, get_billing_portal_link: links you open yourself to connect a source (Google authorization or a Fezola page), upgrade to Pro or manage your subscription on Stripe. No password or code ever goes through the conversation.

5. Write tools

These tools change your mailbox and your assistant asks for your confirmation according to its own settings. Fezola never sends email: replies and new messages are saved as drafts that you send yourself.

  • create_draft, reply_draft, forward_draft: save a new draft in the mailbox's Drafts folder, with attachments if needed (one from another email, or a file prepared by your assistant).
  • update_draft, delete_draft: change or delete a draft.
  • mark_as_read, mark_as_unread, flag_message: change a message's flags.
  • archive_message, move_message, mark_as_spam, trash_message: move a message to another folder.
  • rename_account, remove_account: rename or disconnect a source (your assistant asks for confirmation before disconnecting).
  • update_profile, revoke_assistant: change your display name, remove another assistant's access.

6. Example requests

  • "What arrived in my inboxes and chats today, and what still needs an answer?"
  • "Find the invoice from Acme sent last month, in any of my mailboxes."
  • "Draft a polite reply to the last email from Sarah, from the account that received it."
  • "My work mailbox shows an error: what is wrong and how do I fix it?"
  • "Summarize the PDF attached to the accountant's last email."
  • "How many sources do I have left on my plan? Give me the link to upgrade to Pro."
  • "Reply to Paul and attach the quote Marc sent me last week."

7. Revoke access and delete your data

From the app you can disconnect a source (its credentials are deleted and access is revoked at Google or Telegram), remove an AI assistant's access from the AI connector page, or delete your Fezola account from Settings. You can also remove the connector from your assistant's settings at any time. Your assistant can also do it for you: remove_account disconnects a source, revoke_assistant removes another assistant's access.

8. Troubleshooting

  • A mailbox shows an authentication error: create a new app password at your provider and update it in Fezola. Make sure no space was pasted with it.
  • A Google or Telegram source shows as revoked: reconnect it from the Sources page.
  • New tools do not appear in Claude: open the connector in Claude's settings and refresh its tool list.
  • Anything else: write to support, see below.
