How to use iCloud Mail in Claude

As of November 2026, Claude does not include a built-in iCloud Mail connector, but you can add iCloud through a custom MCP connector: create an app-specific password in your Apple Account, add your iCloud address to Fezola, then add Fezola to Claude. It takes a few minutes, and Claude can then search, read and summarize your iCloud Mail alongside your other inboxes.

What about ChatGPT?

ChatGPT has offered iCloud Mail natively since October 27, 2026. If you only use ChatGPT and only need iCloud, that may be all you need.

Fezola is useful when you want iCloud Mail in Claude, or iCloud together with Gmail, a mailbox on your own domain, Google Chat and Telegram, behind one connector.

Why an app-specific password

Apple does not let other apps sign in to iCloud Mail with your Apple Account password. They need an app-specific password, which requires two-factor authentication on your Apple Account. You can revoke it at any time without changing your main password.

Step by step

  1. Create an app-specific password

    Sign in at account.apple.com, open Sign-In and Security, then App-Specific Passwords. Generate one, name it Fezola and copy it.

  2. Create a Fezola account

    Sign up for free. The Free plan includes 2 sources: iCloud and one other mailbox, for example.

  3. Add your iCloud mailbox

    In Sources, add a mailbox and choose iCloud. Enter your iCloud Mail address and paste the app-specific password: Apple's servers (imap.mail.me.com and smtp.mail.me.com) are filled in. Click Test the connection, then add the mailbox.

  4. Add Fezola to Claude

    In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, name it Fezola and paste https://api.fezola.com/mcp.

  5. Approve access

    Click Connect. Fezola opens a sign-in and consent screen listing the sources Claude will access. Once you accept, Fezola is available on claude.ai, in the desktop app and on mobile.

  6. Ask Claude

    Try: “Summarize the emails I received in iCloud this week” or “Draft a reply to the last email from my landlord.”

Does Claude support iCloud Mail natively?

Not as of November 2026. Claude can reach iCloud Mail through a custom MCP connector such as Fezola.

Does Fezola see my Apple Account password?

No. Fezola only receives the app-specific password, encrypted before it is saved. Revoking it from your Apple Account cuts Fezola's access to the mailbox.

Can Claude send emails from my iCloud address?

No. Fezola saves replies as drafts in your iCloud Drafts folder. You review and send them yourself from Mail on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
